Drama and Grammar
We are studying drama in between giving reading assessments known as the DRA and EDL. I thought it would be a good idea to continue our study of sentence combination by combining drama and grammar. In the video you will find pairs of students reading from a script about illegal sentence combination with including thin air and a comma splice. They had a lot of fun with this conversation that come directly from Gretchen Bernabei's Grammar Keepers. I included a few bloopers. We had to take a few takes to get it right. They student has a blast! I hope you enjoy it as a much as I did producing it!
