Chris Nash from The Abydos Conference-Great Teacher, Great Presenter, Wonderful Person
I attended Chris Nash's presentation on bringing novelty to the classroom. He shared the many different ways he brings novelty in the classroom. I loved all his great ideas. Many were hilarious. It got me thinking about how I can bring more novelty. I have brought it in my classroom some but to be intentional about it and to vary it. The clever ways that he used novelty inspired me. I will continue to do that but be more thoughtful about it. I will post more about some of his ideas. I thoroughly enjoyed this session. He is a nice guy who really cares about his students and wants to share the wealth with the rest of us! You go Chris! Woo Hoo!
Here is a 15 second interview I conducted using Tout on my Samsung Smartphone. I wish it was thirty seconds because what he said when the time was up was nothing short of inspirational. I really enjoyed my time this weekend at Abydos. I have to process it all. My brain is full and I met some really cool peeps including having a down to earth conversation with Arcy Leon. I am going to write a poem about her. I am going off on a tangent right? Okay, I'll stop and leave that for another post.
Here is the short interview. Turn up your volume to hear better. This was recorded today around 10:45 and many people were in the hall.
Let me introduce you to Chris Nash!
