The Natural

This final scene from the movie, The Natural, with Robert Redford is a little long, but would work for an exploding a moment lesson. You could also use this for sensory detail.  There isn't any dialogue in this final scene, so the kids could write it using their senses.  Showing not telling/Movie in our minds  It may work to use this for a lesson on endings???? memory kernal with thoughts and feelings expressed at the end.  I may use this as a prompt or spark for a quick write.  My first year at MWE, I remember the fourth graders loving this lesson and were excited about writing.
