Nothin' to Say

Gotta write a Poem of the Day
But the problem is
and remains
I'm not motivated
Got nothin' to say

Just ordered some pizza
From Pappa Jays
Stomach is grumbling
Got nothin' to say

Been busy most of the day
Going here and there
There and here
Still got nothin' to say

Thinking about pepperoni and cheese
With some sauce and black olives
Waiting for the door bell to ring
with nothin' to say

It's gettin too late
Eyes are heavy
Yawns visit my house
Trying to end this thing
with nothin to say


Slumber calls me
and no one's home
Giving into the sand man
sprinkling the dreams
Gotta go now
with nothin to say
