Directv Analogies

This video is a good video to use sentence frames with and to complete the analogy with a description of the visual.  
I hate that cable only lets us record more than two shows at once. Me too. Cable is worse than.....


Not being able to record all our shows at once is more annoying than........

I want Directv more than....

You could use these analogies to show how to add details to your expository text and to describe something or a situation..

Going to the dentist is worse than.......

Homework is worse than....

I want an iPad worse than.....

It would be great to have young writers think of lists to make up and play around with the frames.  Then they could share it out....fun!

I want to blog more than I want to watch the Boston Celtics play in the Toyota Center in the front row!
